Who We Are
Dr. David Solly, Licensed Psychologist
Dr. David Solly is lead psychologist at Mountaineer Counseling and Consulting, L.L.C. He uses cognitive-behavioral and related techniques within a supportive, solution-focused environment.
He specializes in anxiety, depression, parenting/step-parenting/blended families issues, personal adjustment, career/career transition/workplace issues, learning disabilities and learning problems,
Dr. Solly is a Nationally Certified Telemental Health Provider and a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Professional.
Dr. Solly has over 40 years of experience in the field. He has served as a clinical psychologist, a school psychologist, and as a consultant. His education includes:
- Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from West Virginia University
- Master's Degree in Psychology and Educational Specialist Degree (School Psychology) from Radford University
- Doctorate in Psychology and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies in Counseling from Virginia Tech
